Dear Hacienda La Puente Unified Community,

Hacienda La Puente Unified has successfully concluded the month of March, ushering in the blossoming of spring and diligently gearing up for the culminating months of the 2022-23 academic year.

Before I discuss our March successes, I’d like to take a moment to thank our Board of Education, families, staff and administrators for their continued support this school year. By working together, we are able to continue providing our students with the best opportunities for success.

During the month of March, our students excelled in various academic competitions and Visual and Performing Arts showcases, including the 2023 Science Olympiad Regionals, Speech and Debate Championships, the HLPUSD Band Festival and much more.

Some additional District highlights included hosting our 30th Annual Principal for a Day, inviting families to experience our first-ever Padres University and Meta Code Remix event and presenting at the fourth annual UC Davis C-STEM Symposium.

We hope our students and staff are enjoying this week off, relaxing and recharging as we gear up for the exciting months ahead.
